7. Eleanor Faye married Lawrence Whitcomb (brother
of Grace, Albert’s wife), in 1923, at 19 years of age.
He was a minister and an attorney [although probably
not both, in 1923]
Son: Willard married Shirley [later divorced]

Son: Lawrence married Ruth Burton
Grandchildren: Mike and Melinda
Son: David [Burrows] married [Sallie] Susanne Wise
Grandchildren: Jon [Jonathan David], Cynthia,

Daughter: Eleanor married Reverend Paul Simpson
Grandchildren: Marcia, twins: Cathy and Carol
Daughter: Bonne Fern married Delbert Cervine

Albert and Pearl
In Huntington Park, 1909, Albert Starr met an attractive
student at Deet’s Pacific Bible College. Pearl Byer Stoner
became Louise and Eleanor’s piano teacher.
Although I, her daughter, have no memory of her, I know
she had a lovely voice, for so many friends and relatives
have told me how gloriously she sang. She was an exultant
Christian, having dedicated her voice to singing music
which honored the Lord.
Pearl and Bert, as she called him, were married Sep 16,
1909. . . .
